As a nation, we owe a great deal of gratitude to the brave men and women who have served our country in the military. Veterans have sacrificed so much to protect our freedom and way of life, and we owe it to them to provide the care and support they need to live fulfilling and independent lives.

That’s where the Veterans of Armenia Foundation (VOA) comes in. VOA is committed to helping disabled Veterans live independently by retrofitting their homes to meet their specific needs. The organization has already retrofitted 12 Veterans’ homes, with plans to complete 6 more in 2023.

These thorough renovations allow wheelchair-bound Veterans to maintain their independence and mobility. Modifications range from installing necessary bathroom accommodations to more complex alterations like adding ramps, widening doorways, and flooring conversions. The renovations are customized to meet the specific needs of each disabled Veteran and their family.

By improving a Veteran’s living space, VOA helps to improve their mobility and independence. It is the organization’s goal to make sure that Veterans feel empowered and are able to take control of their lives. These renovations allow them to move around their homes with ease, making it easier to complete daily tasks and take care of themselves.

VOA’s efforts go beyond just improving the physical living spaces of Veterans. By helping them maintain their independence, VOA helps them maintain their dignity and self-respect.

VOA is making a significant impact on the lives of these brave men and women, and their families, by providing them with the support they need to live independently.
